How we got here
12 years of building what we wished existed
Physician First RCM was founded in 2014 by a former hospital CFOs, coding directors, and payer-relations specialists who had spent their careers on the provider side of the revenue cycle. They understood first-hand how much revenue slipped through the cracks — and why.
The firm started with a single regional health system in the mid-Atlantic and grew through referrals alone for its first five years. Today, Physician First RCM serves hospitals and multi-site health systems across the country, managing billions in annual claims volume.
Our growth has been deliberate. We've never taken on more clients than our team can serve with full attention. Every engagement is staffed with a dedicated account team — not a shared service center — and every client has direct access to senior leadership.

Chief Executive Officer
Samantha has spent over 20 years in Healthcare Operations, Revenue Cycle Management, Client Success, and Product Management. She has handled practice management database setup and training, advised on billing policies and procedures, and developed processes to ensure efficient and effective revenue cycle management. She is Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)
